Circle plot is based on a graphic computer program (written by me) which used chance via random number variables to generate and place all lines, colors and marks. The painting, executed by hand in traditional fashion, simulates one possible permutation of that program. Compared here is a 2009 painting, not computer-related but which shares the fine web of vertical screening lines.
